
This test is designed as part of the Fretboard memorization tutorials to help you memorize the notes of the fretboard.
In this test, you will be issued with a note. You must select which note would normally lie directly below this note on any given location on the fretboard.
Please note that because the B string of the guitar does not follow the pattern of tuning in 3rds, this rule does not apply when finding an adjacent note on the B string in relation to a note on the G String. This is hard to explain but a Diagram is available below.
